Film Editor and Sound Designer
Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia 1959. 1983 graduated at FAMU, Film and Television Faculty, Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
Professional work started in Sarajevo 1984 as an editor in International Radio Television center covering Winter Olympic games. After that situated in Belgrade and worked until now on more than hundred feature films as sound editor and sound designer. Also edited picture for commercials, documentaries and short films.
Sound editor of first Yugoslav Dolby Stereo film. 1988 started collaboration with director Emir Kusturica collecting most of the music for his film Time of the Gypsies. Later, Kusturica also persuaded him to start editing picture for feature films.
From 1998 to 2010 he was teaching on Faculty for film and Television, University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia and also at Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia. He had Workshops and Master Classes at EFA Berlin Germany, TUMO Center Yerevan Armenia, EICTV school CUBA.
Worked with most prominent European, Yugoslav and Serbian film artist.
