Liliana made a remarkable transition from academia to the film industry. With a solid background as a PhD researcher in Electrical Engineering, she has successfully shifted gears to become an influential executive producer and business partner at Titanio Films, a Miami-based production company focused on creating TV series, documentaries, shorts, and feature films.

 

Born in Salvador and raised in Rio de Janeiro, her diverse cultural background and experiences have enriched her perspective in the film industry, allowing her to weave unique stories that resonate with audiences worldwide.

 

In 2020, Liliana took on the role of executive producer for several significant projects, including an episode of the Chinese series "KIDS and GLORY," and the documentary series "Brasil, O País do Futebol de Rua" and "Sabor das Ruas do Brasil," which were created in partnership with the Brazilian Embassy in China. Her commitment to showcasing Brazilian culture and stories has been a hallmark of her work.

 

Additionally, she has been producing the documentary series "EXPATS," which highlights incredible stories of immigrants. The first season was set in Paris, followed by a second season in New York, further demonstrating her dedication to exploring diverse narratives and experiences.

 

Moreover, Liliana has assumed the production of the documentary "Inhotim From Within," and the first two seasons of the docuseries "Brazilian Beats," showcasing her passion for storytelling through various formats.

 

In recent years, she has also served as a jury member and curator for various film festivals, contributing her expertise to celebrate and recognize burgeoning talents in the industry.

 

Liliana Kawase’s path reflects her innovative spirit and her belief in the power of storytelling to bridge cultures and connect people.
