ABOUT
A European woman has been kept by a family as a domestic slave for 10 years. She is one of over 45 million victims of modern day slavery today. Drawing courage from the filmmaker's presence, she decides to escape the unbearable oppression and become a free person.
DIRECTOR
BERNADETT TUZA-RITTER
Hungarian independent filmmaker specializing in creative documentaries and fiction. She studied directing and editing at the University of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest. She’sbeen the editor of several international
features, shorts and documentaries. She’s worked as a director in
The CineTrain project in 2013, Russia. Member of HSE and
Hungarian Film Academy. Tuza-Ritter is especially interested in experimenting with film language, and pushing the boundaries between fiction and documentary. She has experience in working in different countries with international film crews.OTHER FESTIVALS
