THE WHITE HORSE

A young girl and her robot find themselves in a documentary musical fairy tale of the Altai Mountains.

DASHA LIKHAIA, OLYA BAKLIER

 

Dasha Likhaia. Film director and engineer. She was born in 1994 in the village of Priozersk. She has worked as a chief engineer at a chemical plant, as a shop assistant in a souvenir shop, and as a waiter in a wine bar. Graduated from the laboratory of non-fiction cinema at the Moscow School of New Cinema. Dasha's films "27A" (2021), "Your Room, Volchok" (2022), "White Horse" (2024), "Text to Film" (2024) were screened and won prizes at international festivals MIEFF, New Holland, Message to man, Vision du reel, Artdocfest.

 

Olya Baklier. Film director and DoP. She was born in St. Petersburg in 2001. She is now in her second year of directing workshop at St. Petersburg School of New Cinema. In addition, Olya has her own musical project. She participated in the filming of the documentary series "Soundscape" (2023) and the hybrid documentary "White Horse" (2024).
