      They were born and raised on a small island amidst a vast natural landscape - four sisters who now live in cities. Their parents have left their home country Germany to raise their children far from consumerism and external control. On a visit back to the island, the sisters bring along some of the pace and concerns of our world today.

    • DIRECTOR

      LARS OSTMAN

       

      Lars Ostmann was born 1982 in Germany. He lived, studied and worked in Hong Kong, England, France, Germany and Japan. Work includes news production for Japanese Television and intercultural media projects. Since 2012 he is studying BA Film Directing and since 2015 MA Film Directing in Babelsberg. The Island is his first feature film.
