TO RUSSIA ON FOOT OR HOW TO FINISH THE FILM

Why would a young man from Brest, France leave his hometown and travel all the way to Astrakhan, Russia on foot? To take on a challenge. To prove himself. And to find out more about his biological mother and sister, whom he doesn’t remember.

ALEXANDRA LUSNIKOVA

Alexandra Lusnikova was born in Saint Petersburg in 1981. She graduated from Saint Petersburg State University with a degree in Journalism. From 2003 through 2021 she worked in television. In recent years she produced several documentaries and wrote scripts for animated series.

NIKITA AKSENOV

Nikita Aksenov was born in 1976. He graduated from the Herzen university. For several years he worked as a school teacher and ran a business. In 2018-2020 he studied at Saint Petersburg School of New Cinema. He directed several documentaries (Do You Like Carp?, 2020, I Don't Want to Leave, 2021).
