ABOUT
Imagine a place where winter lasts for nine months, and where minus fifty degrees centigrade, hurricanes and wind speeds of 20 metres per second are part of everyday life. Unique shots, 3D panoramas and videos from a first-person narrator’s perspective, a wide range of documentary plots and more than 50 real-life characters are combined with an interactive interface, featuring plenty of options to explore.
DIRECTOR
ALEXANDER RASTORGUJEV
Born in Rostov-on-Don in 1971. He graduated from St-Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy in 1998 and worked as TV director and theater dramatist. He directed the documentaries which were awarded at leading European documentary film festivals. Among them: Good Bye, Boys (1997), Draft Copy (1998), Mummies (2001), Maundy Thursday (2002), Tender´s Heat, Wild Wild Beach (2006), I Love You (2011), I Don't Love You (2012), The Term (2014) and others.
