ABOUT
A young African woman comes to Belgium to study medicine, in search for a better future. When she gets pregnant by accident, her plans become jeopardized and she loses all support around her. Against all odds, she decides to continue and make it work. This film is her testimony to her unborn baby.
DIRECTOR
SOFIE MEELBERGHS
Studied Documentary Film at RITCS Brussels. Her short experimental documentary ‘La Voisine’ was selected for Leuven Draait! in 2010 and won the Award for Best Documentary Film. She finished her studies in 2015. Milk and Honey is her graduation project.
