ABOUT
The movie observes Kobanê war’s influences on people and nature, and also Kobanian guerilla women’s rebellion against the approach which ignores woman’s historical values in dominant social descriptions for years.
DIRECTOR
LEYLA TOPRAK
Born in Istanbul (1980). Started the education for Management for Performing Arts at Istanbul Bilgi University. She graduated from the department in 2015. She is currently doing her master degree at Cinema and Television (Istanbul Bilgi University). She has created some origin works, such as short documentaries (Red Handkerchief, Distant) and attended at some projects such as Mem ü Zin, Düşünce Modern Dans, Mezopotamya Kültür Merkezi Dans Bölümü, Kayıp Ülkede Aşk, Kawa Destanı, Kayıp (as artist, dancer and/or choreographer). She also worked as assistant for some projects, such as Otogar Istanbul - Photo Project, Invisible Landscapes / Face to Face - Photo and Video, Før Snøen Faller - Feature Fiction Movie.
